Get to know Rebecca
I qualified as Family Solicitor in 2010 and joined Slater & Gordon in 2022, having practiced on the Wirral for 12 ½ years.
I am based in our newly open Wirral office and my areas of expertise are divorce, finances, cohabitation, children act, non molestation orders and grandparent contact.
I take pride in my professional yet supportive approach and always have a friendly, proactive attitude. I believe that whilst the law is the same, every case is different and unique. I love being able to help people through the most difficult time of their lives and often be the person that they can really talk to without judgement. To see a client emerge bigger, bolder and better is a wonderful sight to see.

What happens to my pension when I divorce?
It's important to understand that pensions are an asset in the same way as your house or other savings. In many cases, the personal or workplace pensions of you and your partner will be taken into account when a divorce financial settlement is worked out.
Ideally, separated or divorced parents will reach a Family-Based Agreement for child maintenance. When this doesn't happen, our family lawyers are here to help.
Divorce was recently revealed as the most stressful major life event you can go through. One of the main contributing factors to this stress is the loss of a home. Often in divorce the matrimonial home has to be sold, but you do not always have to sell the marital house when you separate as 28 percent of people wrongly believe.
If you are cohabiting, it is essential that you know your cohabitation rights in the UK and know exactly where you stand if your name is not on the title deeds.
